Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole is addressing rumors that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s “cheapness” led to their 2022 split.

“Do I look like someone who would divide everything?” Nicole said on the “Unapologetically Angel” podcast on Thursday.

It was rumored that the sports broadcaster and Kelce “split bills 50/50” during their relationship, which she described as “ridiculous.”

“No – that’s the question,” Nicole continued, interrupting podcast host Angel Reese. “Do I look like I pay 50/50 on bills?”

Reese quickly replied, “No,” to which Kelce’s ex responded again, “Okay, so yeah — that was ridiculous.”

At the start of the conversation, the podcast host noted that rumors online claimed that Nicole ended her relationship with the professional athlete because he was “cheap.”

“Yes, it was never a problem in our relationship, but it was definitely a rumor on the internet,” the model explained.

Nicole also brought up that Kelce – who is now known to be dating Taylor Swift – shut down the “cheap” rumors back in January 2023.

“He also brought that up,” she said. “I don’t even know why this even came to this.”

Almost two years ago, the NFL star appeared on The Pivot podcast and called the rumors “crazy,” but also added, “Don’t believe it!”

Although Nicole denies the rumors about her past finances with Kelce, she encourages other women to do what feels right for them in their own relationships.

“To each their own,” she said. “If people like to split their bills with their husband, I think you should do that. I won’t do that.”

Kelce had even previously stated that he often “gave Nicole a few dollars to get something to eat” and that she also “gave me some money” during their five-year romance.

Nicole’s latest comments about her previous relationship with Kelce come just three days after she denounced his “slow start” to the football season.

“Travis Kelce’s start has been slow – do you think he’ll get more than 58.5 receiving yards?” Nicole asked her co-hosts in a video for I Am Athlete Daily.

The Super Bowl champion and Nicole were together from 2017 until their split in May 2022.

Kelce and the “Bad Blood” pop star sparked romance rumors in the summer of 2023 before confirming their relationship in September.
