Kawhi Leonard is out as the Warriors host the Clippers

After setting a historic pace in their first two games, the Golden State Warriors face a tougher challenge today as they host the LA Clippers. But the positive is that they get to come home and play in front of their fans at Chase Center for the first time this season.

However, the Clippers don’t have the three-headed monster that the Dubs became accustomed to last year with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and James Harden. One of these three is dead and another is injured. But fortunately the Warriors remain in good health.

Here is the full injury report for the PT game at 5:30 p.m.

Available — Brandin Podziemski (face mask)

Podziemski’s preseason broken nose continues to place him on the injured list, but it also continues to not keep him off the field. The former will probably stay that way for a while, and hopefully the latter too!

Luckily, Podz is the only Warrior on the injury report (aside from the team’s trio of two-way players who are out for injury-related reasons).

Out of — Kawhi Leonard (recovering from right knee injury)

It’s a real shame how difficult it was for Leonard to stay healthy. Since the start of the 2017-18 season, Leonard has never played more than 60 games in a season and has played just 298 regular season games during that span, which includes seven full seasons and the start of this season. He will be out indefinitely at the beginning of the year.

Out of — Mo Bamba (recovering from left knee injury)

Bamba has also struggled to stay on the court, although his recovery from injury is not as serious as Leonard’s. He is listed as day-to-day to begin his first season with the Clippers.

Out of — PJ Tucker (not with team)

The Tucker saga continues with the Clippers. He remains away from the team – which is how he ended up last year – while his management and LA try to negotiate a trade for the veteran.

And this is the injury report! Have fun playing, Dub Nation!
