Kanye West has been sued by a former assistant for allegedly raping and taking drugs at a Diddy party

Kanye West’s former assistant has filed a lawsuit accusing him of drugging and sexually abusing her during a studio session he co-hosted with Sean “Diddy” Combs. Lauren Pisciotta, who was employed by West from 2021 to 2022, alleges in an amended complaint obtained by PEOPLE that West had committed “sexual assault” after giving her a drink laced with a substance.

Pisciotta’s allegations are an expansion of her previous wrongful termination lawsuit against West, in which she claimed she was exposed to explicit messages, pornographic images, videos and phone calls from him before she was fired. She began working with West in July 2021 to help with his Yeezy women’s clothing line and collaborate on his 2021 album Donda.

Previously, a legal representative for West had denied Pisciotta’s other claims, saying that “you will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta.”

According to the now amended lawsuit, filed Oct. 8 in Los Angeles County Court, Pisciotta claims that before she was hired by West, he invited her to a studio session in Santa Monica, California, where “drinks were served to others in attendance.” . , followed by the announcement that everyone had to drink if they wanted to stay.

The lawsuit alleges that West and Combs co-hosted the studio session and Pisciotta attended with a “former artist management client.” Although Combs is named as a co-host in the amended complaint, Pisciotta does not accuse him of wrongdoing.

The filing further alleges that the drink, which was allegedly served to Pisciotta by a studio assistant at West’s request, was “laced with an unidentified drug,” causing her to become disoriented after just “a few small sips.” felt.

“As the plaintiff began to enter an altered and severely impaired state, she felt less in control of her body and her speech, and that is the point at which the plaintiff loses her memories of that night,” it says it in the statement of claim.

According to the files, Pisciotta woke up the next day “physically ill and confused” and felt “immensely ashamed and embarrassed” because he could not remember what happened after drinking at the studio session.

For years, West’s former assistant believed she had been drugged and humiliated at a work event. Later, after West hired Pisciotta as assistant, chief of staff and A&R rep, he reportedly brought up that evening for the first time. During the conversation, West told Pisciotta that they “got together a little bit once,” referring to the night at the Santa Monica studio where the alleged assault occurred.

When Pisciotta told West she had no memory of that studio session, West allegedly laughed and remarked, “Women love to say they don’t remember,” the complaint states.

“Until this moment, immediately prior to this conversation, the plaintiff was unaware that she had been subjected to gender-based violence and sexual assault by KANYE WEST aka YE that night in the studio,” the document states.

The amended complaint also states that Pisciotta felt “overcome with great shame, discomfort and utter disgust.”

Additionally, Pisciotta claims that in July 2021, during an “album workshop” at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco at 6 a.m., West “aggressively” knocked on the door of her hotel room, forced his way into her room, and claimed he needed to use her shower because his was out of order. She further alleges that West later approached her, “dropped his towel” and attempted to “forcibly thrust his naked body and penis into Plaintiff’s face,” ignoring her pleas to stop. According to the complaint, West then “quickly left” after saying “sorry” and continued with his day as if nothing had happened.

The complaint also states that Pisciotta, who claims she received offensive messages from West and was fired from her position as chief of staff at his companies just a month after her promotion in September 2022, “could not tolerate the fact that “she worked for the man who…” sexually assaulted her while she was drugged and then successfully lured her back into his orbit through a work opportunity to repeat the assault.

West also faces a separate lawsuit filed in April 2024 by a former employee who claimed he suffered “severe discrimination (and) harassment” while working for Yeezy and at his Donda Academy school. Additionally, a former employee recently filed a lawsuit alleging emotional distress, retaliation, and labor law violations.
