JOSIE Duggar made a rare public appearance at her big sister Jana’s wedding in Arkansas last week.

On August 15, Jana and Stephen Wissmann tied the knot in a surprise ceremony and even the most reclusive members of the family came to this big day.

Jana, the eldest of the Duggar daughters, married Stephen last Thursday in front of their loved ones in Arkansas.

The ceremony took place at The Grand at Willow Springs in Prairie Grove, and the couple’s closest friends and family gathered for the occasion in soft shades of pink.

Stephen’s sister, Alaythia Gloria Wissmann, the eleventh child and seventh daughter of Loren and Gloria Wissmann, shared some sweet insights into her brother’s big day.

Alaythia shared plenty of snaps and video clips on Instagram and wrote in the caption: “It was the absolute best day to celebrate the new Wissmann couple!

“What an honor to see God answer so many prayers and write the most incredible story for these two,” she added.

“I love you both so much and can’t wait to see what God has in store for the future,” Alaythia concluded.

PROUD LITTLE SISTER

Embedded in the posts was a video showing the happy couple after the ceremony, embracing each other in a big kiss.

But it wasn’t just the newlywed couple’s love bite that was visible in the video, because if you look closely, you can also see Jana’s younger sister Josie.

Josie stood behind the couple in a blush pink dress as the couple hugged and kissed in front of their loved ones. She could be seen looking overjoyed and grinning.

MIRACLE BABY

Josie is the youngest of 19 children. Due to serious health problems, the teenager rarely appears in public.

She was born in the 25th week of her mother Michelle’s pregnancy – three and a half months premature.

Michelle suffered from preeclampsia – high blood pressure during pregnancy – and had to undergo an emergency caesarean section to save her and Josie’s lives.

The teenager is a “micro-premature,” meaning she is vulnerable to long-term health problems such as cerebral palsy, blindness and deafness.

In 2014, when she was just five years old, Josie suffered an epileptic seizure in front of the world while cameras were rolling for the series “19 Kids and Counting.”

One fan commented on the post dedicated to the happy couple, saying: “I’m so happy for them!! Everyone and everything looked beautiful.”

“Beautiful wedding! Everyone looked so happy. Congratulations,” wrote a second.

A third person then said: “Such a beautiful day! Congratulations to the sweet couple! May God’s blessings be upon you all!”

When Jana spoke to People about her wedding, she raved that it was a “dream come true.”

“I think that’s one of those things that all girls imagine one day,” Jana told the outlet, adding, “For me, it felt like, ‘Okay, that’s never going to happen.’

“But now it’s starting to become clear to me,” she enthused.

Jana then continued: “Reality is starting to set in. And I think to myself, ‘Wow, this is really something I dreamed of.’

“And to see it just happen is incredible and kind of hard to believe. It’s a dream come true.”
