Josh Allen injured his left hand in the Bills’ victory over the Cardinals

The Buffalo Bills pulled off a great win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, overcoming a 17-3 deficit early in the game. However, the 34-28 victory was not without collateral damage.

In addition to nickelback Taron Johnson, who left early with a forearm injury, quarterback Josh Allen was injured on a six-point red zone scramble midway through the fourth quarter. After the touchdown, Allen was observed having his left hand/wrist heavily bandaged while backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky warmed up.

Thankfully, Allen was able to finish the game, but the injury to his non-throwing hand will be worth monitoring on a short week before a big AFC East showdown against the Miami Dolphins. It’s never ideal for a quarterback to be nursing a hand injury, but even less so when he has a four-day rest and a game under the lights ahead of him. Football on Thursday evening.

During the halftime break of the Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams game Football on Sunday evening Game, Mike Florio from NBC Sports Word was that the injury didn’t look good, but Allen was not seen with a bandaged hand after the game.

We’ll likely hear more information about Allen’s injured left hand from head coach Sean McDermott during his press conference on Monday afternoon. While it’s the last thing anyone in the Bills Mafia wanted to hear (and you have to admit, no one on Buffalo Rumblings has a medical degree), given Josh Allen’s combative nature, if anyone wants to keep him out of Thursday’s big divisional game, they’ll have to handcuff him to the dugout and throw away the keys.
