Jordan Binnington will start the Blues season opener in Seattle

SEATTLE – Goaltender Jordan Binnington will make his sixth opening day appearance for the Blues when he takes on the Kraken on Tuesday afternoon.

In his career, Binnington is 3-0-2 in season openers, with a .934 save percentage and 1.95 goals against average. Binnington and backup Joel Hofer are expected to split the next two starts in a specific order during the back-to-back races in San Jose and Vegas.
