Jimmy Hart explains who he wants to work with when he returns to WWE

In an interview with ComicBook.com, Jimmy Hart talked about a possible return to WWE and who he would like to work with if he did return. Hart was last seen on WWE television last year when he stepped into the ring with Hulk Hogan. Here are the highlights:

About a possible return to WWE: “If I had the choice, if Triple H came to me and said, ‘Jimmy, we’ve got Paul Ellering who just came back, we want to bring you back for a while.’ I’d say, ‘Okay, great. I’m in.’ I’d take Austin Theory, I love him. I think he’s got a lot of options. Pretty Deadly, the tag team Pretty Deadly. I’d love to be with those guys. And I think the ladies, Piper Niven, I’d love to be with Piper. I’m telling you now, she’s got the looks, she’s got the size. She could do so many great things in the ring, and I think she’s on the verge of maybe being world champion, but she’d be great. I’d love to be by her side. Because I had the glamour girls at one point, remember Judy, Lonnie Kahn and Judy Martin.”

About using the megaphone: “We won so many matches with the megaphones. Now, I’m not saying I had anything to do with it. Some of the wrestlers were clumsy and fell into it, knocked themselves down and we ended up getting the pin, but like I said, you get a chance to throw it in and do stuff with it, probably take it away from me and use it yourself, but I’m excited.”

How the megaphone became part of his show: “The megaphone was such a big part of my career. When I was in Memphis with Andy Kaufman and Lawler and everybody, I always had a stick with me. I used it in the ring, but when I went to New York, Mr. Fuji had the stick. So I couldn’t do that against Mr. Fuji, you know what that would have done. So what happened is I got the megaphone and I could paint it, it was, if I had the Heart base, pink and black. If it was with Hulk, I had red and yellow. And of course, I just did the Jimmy Hart stuff generically, with the Southern Mouth on it and all the hearts and stuff. But it was a big part of my career. Really.”
