Jeon Jong Seo of “Wedding Impossible” to host SNL Korea Season 6 premiere episode on August 31; report

Jeon Jong Seo is all set to return to the land of K-dramas with her upcoming work Queen Woo. After the highly anticipated premiere, the actress will appear in SNL Korea Season 6. She will reportedly kick off the upcoming season as the first host. The pilot episode is now scheduled to air on August 31.

On August 21, Korean media outlet ET News reported that Jeon Jong Seo was confirmed as the first host of SNL Korea Season 6. The first episode of the comedy show Coupang Play will air on August 31 at 8:00 p.m. KST, with the “Wedding Impossible” actress as the host.

The actress is known for her unique presence and portrayal of complex characters in films and K-dramas. Her appearance in SNL Korea Season 6 promises viewers a great experience. According to the report, the Coupang Play team chose her as the first host because her strong personality best fits the concept of the comedy show.

Regarding her performance, the actress said that she feels honored to be invited to host the pilot episode of SNL Korea’s 6th season. She promises to show a different side of herself that has rarely been seen before, while vowing to do her best, more than any other host so far.

Meanwhile, Jeon Jong Seo returns to the big screen with her upcoming historical drama Queen Woo. In this work, she plays the title character and once again delivers a convincing performance.

Besides her, the drama will also star other well-known talents including Ji Chang Wook, Lee Soo Hyuk, Jung Yu Mi, Kim Mu Yeol and others. Queen Woo is scheduled to premiere on August 29 on TVING.

Jeon Jong Seo is a talented Korean actress who has appeared in many acclaimed works. She made her acting debut in acclaimed director Lee Chang Dong’s 2018 film Burning and quickly rose to fame with her powerful screen presence.

She is best known for The Call (2020), Nothing Serious (2021), Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area (2022), Ballerina (2023) and Wedding Impossible (2024), among other popular works.
