Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck continue their marriage despite ongoing divorce rumors and relationship problems. The couple has not been photographed together for two months and there is already speculation about officially filing for divorce and announcing their separation.

However, many are wondering why they are waiting to make the announcement, as JLo had previously spoken openly about rekindling their romance and their big wedding in 2022.

According to new reports, the reason for the wait has to do with her upcoming film, Unstoppable. Production on the film wrapped in January and, according to Us Weekly, the project is set to hit theaters in September.

This means the two stars will also be promoting the film, likely going on a press tour and attending the premiere. It’s unclear if they will walk the red carpet together or do any joint interviews. Although the couple has not expressed their thoughts on the relationship, the film will apparently premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

“Behind the scenes, they have worked out what it will look like when they pull the trigger. Their main goal is to remain amicable,” a source close to them told the publication.

Many believe that they would announce the divorce after the film’s release, but nothing is confirmed and the rumors are getting stronger. The Toronto International Film Festival runs from September 5th to 15th and starts in just a month.

“What fun, what a joy to do something with her, to see how amazing she is, to go to work with your wife, to go to work with your best friend,” Ben said in a 2023 interview with CBS Sunday Mornings about working with Jennifer.
