Jenna Ortega’s latest film is now available to watch at home.

Miller’s Girl has been added to the Prime Video UK streaming service and is available to watch for free by new and existing Prime members.

The Wednesday The actor stars alongside Martin Freeman in the thriller, in which the two play a student-teacher duo who begin a relationship.

When it was released in January this year, the film sparked controversy due to the 31-year age difference between the two actors, who appear in intimate scenes in the film.

“A talented young writer embarks on a creative odyssey when her teacher Jonathan Miller assigns her a project that entangles them both in an increasingly complex web,” says the film’s official synopsis.

“As boundaries blur and their lives become intertwined, professor and protégé must confront their darkest sides while fighting to maintain their individual sense of what matters and what matters most to them.”

Freeman defended the film in an interview with The times in April and called the story “mature and nuanced.”

“It’s not about saying, ‘Isn’t that great?'” he said, explaining that he believes stories dealing with sensitive topics can sometimes be tainted by association.

“Are we going to attack Liam Neeson for acting in a film about the Holocaust?”

Miller’s Girl Screenwriter and director Jade Halley Bartlett also publicly confirmed that the film’s cast worked closely with intimacy coordinator Kristina Arjona to choreograph the sex scenes.

“Throughout the whole process, there were many, many people engaging with (Jenna) to make sure it was consistent with what she was comfortable with, and she was very determined and very sure about what she wanted to do,” Arjona told the Daily mail.

Miller’s Girl was not received as enthusiastically by critics, but the central performances of Ortega and Freeman were praised. The film currently has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 29%.

Miller’s Girl is now available on Prime Video UK and Netflix US.
