Despite their impressive win, they continued to call Harden a curse.

On Thursday night, the 49ers took on the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field and earned a comfortable 36-24 victory. After the victory, Harden stood in the tunnel to greet the players. And to his surprise, he celebrated the victory alongside Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and Geroge Odum. Additionally, Samuel made the occasion even more special when he hugged the Clippers guard and signed a jersey for him.

It was indeed a special bond with Deebo after his outstanding performance as he recorded his second 100-yard game of the season, which included three catches and a touchdown. Some may be wondering if this is an unexpected stunt by James Harden. But in reality he has been doing this since 2013.

The beard entered Candlestick Park to attend the season opener and met then-coach Jim Harbaugh. After the visit, he even thanked management with an X post that said: “I want to thank everyone in the @49ers organization for showing me love and making me feel at home today!” Despite his loyalty and the team’s recent success, fans viewed the 10-time All-Star as a curse.

Additionally, despite the star’s ability to win an MVP award, most fans think that the 35-year-old “suffocates” when it matters most.

And to add more detail to the reaction, another fan wrote: “A guy who goes down in the playoffs every year and supports a team that goes down in the playoffs every year!” In his 15-season career, Harden has only made it to the Finals once, including in 2012, during his time with the Thunder. Unfortunately, he wasn’t much help in the intense matchup against the Heat, averaging 12.4 points, including three single-digit points. The 49ers, however, have a similar reputation in the playoffs. In the last three seasons in particular, the team came so close to winning the Super Bowl and blew it in the end.
