The Bund And In the grey.

For him, Stephen Gyllenhaal, who – as his last name suggests – is Jake’s father, was his first time working under the same director. A dangerous woman and 1998 Indigenous provided the young Gyllenhaal with some of his first roles. Interestingly, the star did not work with the same directors again until the 2010s. His collaborations with Denis Villeneuve, Dan Gilroy and Antoine Fuqua also produced some of his best work, with Gilroy’s disturbing Moth often cited as Gyllenhaal’s most memorable performance.

Guy Ritchie has at least five new feature films in various stages of production, as well as two highly anticipated television series.

However, breaking such a record is not a good reason to work with the same director again. It will be the quality of the script or the role that will be more likely to entice Gyllenhaal to do a film, but if Ritchie is equipped with one (or ideally both) of these ingredients, another collaboration is In the grey is feasible. It’s unlikely Roadhouse 2024 Director Doug Liman will return for a sequel, so maybe Jake Gyllenhaal should call Ritchie about taking on the sequel as well.
