Is DeAndre Hopkins playing today? The Titans wide receiver has a quiet first quarter

The Tennessee Titans’ offense has been abysmal in 2024, as the unit is scoring just 19.2 points per game and is the main reason for Tennessee’s disappointing 1-4 start.

Most of the blame for Nashville’s offensive incompetence falls on quarterback Will Levis, but many of the Titans’ top playmakers have been underwhelming this season, particularly veteran wide receiver Deandre Hopkins.

The three-time All-Pro has just 14 catches this season and is on pace to have one of the worst statistical seasons of his illustrious career.

Hopkins and the Titans offense face a talented Buffalo Bills defense in Week 7, and the future Hall of Famer doesn’t appear to be an integral part of the game plan early on.

Is Deandre Hopkins playing today?

Although Mason Rudolph was named the starting quarterback due to an injury to Levis, Hopkins did not score a single goal in the first quarter against the Bills.

Tennessee’s passing attack wasn’t bad in the opening period, as Rudolph looked confident and relaxed while distributing the ball. But the former Steeler didn’t target Hopkins once in the first quarter, so we’ll see if that changes as the game goes on and if they get better acquainted with each other.
