Investigators search for missing man whose car was found near KC College

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (KCTV) — Investigators are searching for a missing man after his car was found near a Kansas City college campus, but he was not.

The police in Kansas City, Missouri, say they need the public’s help in the search for missing Breyden Hensley (23), who was last seen on Sunday, August 11, around 6 p.m.

Emergency responders said Hensley was last seen driving his vehicle near the Walmart at 11601 E. 40 Highway. His car was later found near the intersection of 33rd St. and SW Trafficway near Metropolitan Community College – Penn Valley Campus. However, he has not been seen or heard from since.

Investigators said Hensley was known to frequent the Independence Avenue and Grandview, Missouri areas, and his friends and family were extremely concerned for his safety and well-being.

Hensley is described as a white male, approximately 6’2″ tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds. He has brown hair that was recently cut shorter than in the photo.

Anyone with information on Hensley’s whereabouts or who sees him should immediately report it to 911 or call KCPD’s Missing Persons Unit at 816-234-5043.
