How to watch the Purdue at Creighton exhibition game

For the second straight year, Purdue will head to an exhibition game to raise money, and head coach Matt Painter will help prepare his team for a hostile environment. Purdue lost an overtime game at Arkansas last season.

Now a top-15 Creighton team awaits the return of one of the best big men in the country, Ryan Kalkbrenner, and an experienced roster around him.

For Purdue, this game will be an invaluable first taste of college basketball for a team that brought in five true freshmen, at least three of whom will likely play important minutes for a team looking to win its third straight Big Ten Conference championship .

In addition to the new additions, Purdue will look to move on after losing program stars Ethan Morton and Mason Gillis, Impact transfer Lance Jones and two-time National Player of the Year Zach Edey.

The team has handed the keys to junior Braden Smith, who is playing in his own Player of the Year campaign. The Big Ten Pre-Season Player of the Year will be joined in the starting lineup by junior Fletcher Loyer and sophomore Trey Kaufman-Renn.

The rest of Purdue’s rotation remains a mystery, with Myles Colvin and Camden Heide poised for breakouts and a trio of intriguing freshmen who should earn a spot in the rotation. This will be a good first test and experiment as Creighton enters the season as a potential Final Four team after losing to Tennessee in the Sweet 16 last year.
