How to watch and stream the games

If your spouse or partner is an NFL fan, you might as well start making plans of your own, because there’s a lot of football on the agenda in the next few days.

The 2024 NFL season will begin on Thursday, September 5, with a prime-time game between the Baltimore Ravens and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on NBC. Week 1 of the season will then continue with at least one game on three of the following four days, including a historic international clash in Brazil on September 6 between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers.

With all 32 teams in action in Week 1, there’s something for every NFL fan. Read on to learn more about the Week 1 schedule and how to watch your favorite team.

What is the schedule for Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season and how can I watch the games?

Here’s a breakdown of Week 1’s games and the networks that will broadcast them. All times are Eastern Time:

How can I stream NFL Week 1 games?

The season opener between the Chiefs and Ravens and the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Rams and Lions will be streamed on Peacock in addition to being broadcast on NBC. The Brazil game between the Eagles and Packers on Sept. 6 will be broadcast exclusively on Peacock. (Peacock is owned by TODAY.com’s parent company, NBCUniversal.)

Paramount+ subscribers have access to CBS streaming games for the local market.

You can stream Fox NFL games on FoxSports.com or the Fox Sports app. To stream games, Fox must be part of your TV channel lineup.

ESPN+ will stream several Monday Night Football games this season, including the Jets’ game against the 49ers on Sept. 9.
