    How to watch all the Alien movies in order

    Okay, be honest – have you Really have every single episode of the Foreigner Movie franchise? If so, I really applaud you, but for the other 98 percent of people who probably don’t (guilty) and want to see Alien: Romulus You may want to catch up on the classics on the big screen before you book a ticket at your local cinema.

    Alien: Romulus requires a little prior knowledge if you don’t want to get lost in the plot. The film – starring Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn and Aileen Wu – is a standalone film that takes place between the events of Foreigner (1979) and Aliens (1986). The cast plays a group of space colonists who, while raiding a seemingly abandoned space station, come face to face with the true stars of the entire franchise: terrifying Xenomorphs.

    Naturally, Alien: Romulus, ForeignerAnd Aliens aren’t the only films in the series. There are multiple installments to delve into, so if you want to know how to watch the entire series in order, read on. Alien, parasitic fun awaits.

    Foreigner (1979)

    The original edition from 1979 Foreigner follows Warrant Officer Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) as a crew of space travelers aboard the Nostromo, a commercial spaceship on its way back to Earth. The crew receives a signal from a nearby spaceship that appears to be abandoned, but after exploring the area, the crew finds a chamber filled with thousands of alien eggs. A parasite in the egg attacks a crew member, who falls unconscious, and they bring her back to her original ship – but little do they know that all hell is about to break loose.

    Aliens (1986)

    Xenomorphs are pretty evil, because Ripley is the only crew member who makes it out alive. Aliens. 57 years later, Ripley is called to help a group of Marines defeat the dangerous alien force, but instead of a naval invasion, the Xenomorphs have taken over the space colony on the moon LV-426. Ripley must not only survive, but also protect a little girl who is the only survivor of the alien attack on her colony.

    Aliens 3 (1992)

    Ripley crashes on Fiorina 161, a wasteland inhabited by former prisoners of a maximum security prison on the planet. The Xenomorphs continue their reign of terror, and this time Ripley must face the aliens – along with prisoners and guards, and without Weapons – to get out alive.

    Alien – Rebirth (1997)

    Alien – Rebirth continues 200 years later Aliens 3 ends after Ripley sacrifices herself for the good of humanity. As the film’s title suggests, Ripley is ~resurrected~ through military cloning to remove the alien living inside her, but things don’t go according to plan and Ripley is faced with a difficult decision about where her true loyalty lies – humans or aliens.

    Alien vs Predator (2004)

    Instead of playing on a spaceship, Alien vs Predator Charles Bishop Weyland (Lance Henriksen) goes on an expedition to Antarctica to find a source of heat. Tour guide Alexa Woods (Sanaa Lathan) helps them discover a hidden pyramid, and surprise! There are parasitic aliens. But when the Predators – another dangerous extraterrestrial species – come to hunt the aliens, the people are thrown into chaos.

    Alien vs Predator: Requiem (2007)

    No exotic places in the second part of the Alien vs Predator Saga – for requiemthe franchise goes to Colorado, where the Aliens and Predators, for some reason, go to settle their feud (read: beat each other to extinction).

    Thought we were done with spaceships? Think again. Prometheus is the name of a spaceship with a full crew. The crew follows a star map to find ancient Earth artifacts and discover the earliest signs of human life. Of course, aliens find their way into the fold, pushing the humans into deadly territory.
