Lock Mode is a security feature first introduced with Android 9 that serves as a last resort to keep prying eyes away from your phone. Enabling it will obscure all incoming notifications on your lock screen and disable biometrics and Smart Lock settings so no one can force you to unlock your phone with your face or fingerprint.

Use the lock feature when you want to keep your screen locked until you can enter the password or PIN to unlock the screen. It is available for all Android phones and is easy to enable.
