Houston Texans star WR suffers injury in game against Buffalo Bills

The Houston Texans cannot escape the risk of injury. This time, star wide receiver Nico Collins has left the competition.

In the second quarter against the Buffalo Bills, Collins left with a hamstring injury. It is questionable whether he will return for the rest of the game.

Collins’ footprint has already been left in the game. The team put together a six-play, 70-yard scoring drive. After a stop, quarterback CJ Stroud connected with Collins on a 67-yard touchdown pass to complete a one-play drive and extend the team’s lead to 14-3.

After building a decent lead, the Texans can count on other star receivers like Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell to balance things out, combined with the rest of their strength in the passing game. However, the team would then be without Collins and running backs Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce.

The threat of injury has hit the Texans, and if Collins were to be sidelined at some point, Houston would be without another talented player. Fortunately, Stroud is a star with a lot to prove, and he will continue to make an impact on the game without his best receiver, even if it hurts if he misses his services.
