A new one-hour ABC primetime special celebrates the resilience and artistry of Hollywood’s Latino community. “Latinos in Hollywood: Owning Our Destiny“, hosted by John Quinones, will air Friday, October 11th at 8pm ET on ABC.

While Latinos have struggled with typecasting and fought for representation since the early days of cinema, a new group of creatives is changing the landscape. According to ABC News: “Latinos in Hollywood: Owning Our Destiny“ will underscore the importance of top-to-bottom representation and shine a light on a powerful path forward – Latino industry leaders enacting change by taking on executive producer and director roles and launching Latino production companies.

The special takes an in-depth look at representation, visibility and creative possibilities in front of and behind the camera.
