Here’s how to watch Kamala Harris’ Georgia rally with Bruce Springsteen tonight

Vice President Kamala Harris will host a rally in Atlanta on Thursday alongside former President Barack Obama and musician Bruce Springsteen.

The 2024 presidential election is set to be one of the closest elections in recent history, and with Election Day less than two weeks away, Harris and former President Donald Trump are in a dead heat to win the White House.

With the Republican candidate ahead in the polls, the Atlanta rally is another opportunity for Harris to speak to voters in the final stretch of the race.

When is Kamala Harris’ Georgia rally?

The rally is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Where is Harris’ Georgia rally taking place?

The rally will take place at Hallford Stadium in Clarkston, a suburb of Atlanta.

Recent polls showed Trump with a slight lead over Harris in Georgia, with ActiVote giving him 51 percent of the vote. However, a TIPP Insights poll showed Harris ahead with 49 percent approval, compared to 46 percent for Trump.

Georgia is one of seven critical battleground states and has 16 electoral votes that could be crucial for both candidates on their way to the White House.

The rally will be broadcast via a PBS livestream on YouTube.

Who else will show up at the rally?

Director Spike Lee, actor Samuel L. Jackson, filmmaker Tyler Perry and DJ Mix Master David are expected to attend the rally.

Why is the rally important?

The Atlanta rally is part of “When We Vote, We Win,” a series of campaign concerts reportedly scheduled to take place in various swing states in the lead-up to the Nov. 5 election. According to the online magazine Consequence, more concerts will be announced in the coming days.

Springsteen, a 75-year-old New Jersey native, supported Harris via a video on Instagram in early October.

The “Born to Run” singer said the 2024 presidential election is “one of the most consequential elections in our country’s history” and urged fans to vote. He also described Trump as “the most dangerous presidential candidate” of his lifetime.

Springsteen is the latest among many stars to support Harris. Earlier this week, Eminem attended a rally with Obama in Detroit, and the likes of Lizzo and Usher have joined Harris on the campaign trail in recent weeks.

What problems should you pay attention to?

According to Georgia Public Broadcasting, reproductive rights are the most important issue for voters in the Peach State.

Harris is likely to raise the issue since she has made women’s suffrage a focus of her campaign. Other important issues in Georgia include democracy, the environment and the cost of living.
