“Have you noticed anything strange about your phone bill lately?”

From her body language alone, we can tell that she wasn’t lying when she used the word “exciting.”

Here’s why.

“Because I noticed that Verizon decided to charge me an extra $6 and a few cents per month even though they are not providing me with any more services than they did last month.”

“That’s an additional $80 a year.”

She doesn’t say whether she is angry on behalf of impoverished people, rejects capitalism or whatever.

“I decided to do a little research,” says Angel, making a tapping motion with her hands.

“It turns out that Verizon had 144 million customers in 2023. What does that mean?” she asks, rubbing her thumbs with her other fingers to sign for money.

“That means Verizon made a nice $11.5 billion when they decided to charge everyone the same extra as me,” she explains in a sarcastic and angry tone.

“For doing absolutely nothing.” Then she gives the camera the middle finger.
