Harris-Walz shocked with devastating report on China’s behavior before presidential debate: “Time to strike back”

FIRST ON FOX: An anti-CCP group is launching a six-figure ad in key swing states during Tuesday’s debate between former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing Harris of “harming” the country with her stance on China.

“The Protecting America Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the country from the growing influence of communist China in the United States, today released a six-figure television ad that will air during Tuesday’s presidential debate between Trump and Harris,” the Protecting America Initiative said in a press release this week ahead of the first debate between Trump and Harris.

In the 30-second commercialwhich will face off in the swing states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin during Tuesday’s debate, the group is taking direct aim at Harris and Walz’s record on China.

Harris Vice President Pick has spent years supporting a research facility that collaborated with a “Chinese military company.”

“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have opened the door to communist China and they are marching right through it,” the ad says.

“A new Biden-Harris rule means China will hold our auto industry hostage. Harris even cast the tie-breaking vote that made it possible. And now that she’s running for president, she’s picked a running mate who is under federal investigation for ‘close ties’ to the CCP,” the ad continued. “Harris has done enough damage. It’s time to fight back. To secure our manufacturing, our food supply, and our border… it’s time to stand up to China and protect America.”

The Protecting America Initiative describes itself as a “conservative nonprofit organization that supports state legislators in their efforts to address the growing threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party.” It is led by former Trump acting intelligence director Richard Grenell and former Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin.

The Harris-Walz campaign team has come under criticism for its stance on China, particularly Walz, who is the subject of a House investigation because of his “longstanding ties” to China.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer announced earlier this year that he was seeking information on the Chinese companies and officials with whom Walz “works and has collaborated,” as well as any “warnings or advice the FBI may have given to Governor Walz about U.S. politicians being targeted by the CCP or recruited for such influence operations.”

Comer said Walz had “longstanding ties to CCP-affiliated entities and officials that made him vulnerable” to the CCP’s strategy of “uniting the elite.” The CCP seeks to co-opt influential figures from elite political, cultural, and academic circles to “influence the United States to the benefit of the communist regime and to the detriment of Americans.”

Comer referred to reports of Walz’s “extensive contacts with CCP officials and entities during his tenure” and said this raised questions about “potential CCP influence on his decisions as governor – and, if elected, as vice president.”

Fox News Digital reached out to the Harris-Walz campaign for comment but did not receive a response.
