Hard Rock Stadium announces general information and road closures related to Taylor Swift concert – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

MIAMI GARDENS, FL. (WSVN) – Hard Rock Stadium announced important information regarding Taylor Swift “The Eras Tour” to ensure fans have the best experience and encourage ticket holders to plan ahead as strict guidelines will be enforced.

The Eras Tour takes place October 18-20 at Hard Rock Stadium.

Below, participants and Miami Gardens residents will find important information about parking, road closures, stadium security and access, and more.

  • General information:
  • Parking at Hard Rock Stadium requires a prepaid parking permit AND a show ticket for that evening’s concert.
  • There will be no parking available for purchase at Hard Rock Stadium on the day of the show.
  • Only fans with a parking permit and a valid concert ticket will be allowed to park in stadium parking lots on the date of their concert ticket.
  • There are NO listening areas outside of the stadium for those without concert tickets.
  • Fans without concert tickets will not have access to the stadium grounds and will be asked to leave the stadium. Police and stadium security will patrol the parking lots to ensure ticketed fans have a safe and positive experience.
  • Fans should expect their ticket to be checked several times upon entry to the stadium.
  • Fans must scan their concert ticket before boarding the park and ride buses, which are reserved for concert ticket holders only.
  • Gate times:
  • Parking hours: 3:30 p.m
  • Stadium entrance: 4:30 p.m
  • Guests are not permitted to queue or park until the parking gates open at 3:30 p.m

Parent drop-off and pick-up:
Hard Rock Stadium has set up three parent drop-off and pick-up locations for all three show nights: Lot 14, Lot 15, Lot 31

  • Parent drop-off locations will open at 3:30 p.m. on each performance date.
  • If picking up from pitches 14 or 15, parents MUST enter the pitch between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m
  • Road closures will come into effect from 10:30 p.m. to make it easier to exit the stadium.
  • For parents arriving after 10:30 p.m., only parking lot 31 is accessible.
  • Hard Rock Stadium encourages parents to use the Waze app to access the fastest routes around road closures.

Road closures:
The following roads will be closed on Friday, October 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and all three nights from 10:00 p.m :30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m

  • Turnpike 2X ramp and exit
  • NW 199th Street between NW 27th Ave. and NW 14th Ct.

Miami Gardens residents may pass through the road closures at NW 199th Street using their City of Miami Gardens-issued resident identification cards or a driver’s license with a local address. Residents can also use the ramps to access the turnpike.

Security and stadium access:
Fans will go through multiple security and ticket checks to ensure only valid ticket holders enter the parking lots and stadium. Fans should expect their ticket to be scanned more than once upon entry to the stadium.”

  • Bag guidelines:
    Allowed: Clear plastic bags no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″. Small bags no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″
  • Prohibited: Any purse or bag larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″. Non-clear bags larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″
