COBB COUNTY, Ga – Vice presidential candidate Tim Walz’s wife, Gwen Walz, is campaigning in Georgia on Wednesday.

Minnesota’s first lady will join former Sen. Jen Jordan and members of the Georgia Democratic Party in Cobb County at 10 a.m. for a rally, followed by a campaign dinner at noon.

The campaign says Walz’s visit will be in response to former President Donald Trump’s town hall discussion on women’s issues, which will air Wednesday at 11 a.m. on Fox News

Trump’s town hall was recorded during the Republican candidate’s visit to Cobb County on Tuesday.

Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have targeted Georgia as one of the key states needed to reach 270 Electoral College votes and secure the presidency.

Harris will give her first formal interview with Fox News on Wednesday evening.

She will make her own visit to the Atlanta area on Saturday. Details of the visit were not disclosed.
