Hunter Fieri – also known as Guy Fieri’s son and heir to the Flavortown festival – proposed to his girlfriend Tara Bernstein on Thanksgiving Day last year at the family ranch in Northern California. Now Guy himself is revealing all about his eldest’s upcoming nuptials.

According to the Diners, drive-ins and pubs Star, the couple plans to get married at the exact same location where they got engaged in November.

“We were at the ranch over Christmas and there was a lot of discussion about how we were going to do it and where we were going to do it,” Guy told PEOPLE. “We have this big pond and in the middle of the pond is an island with a big willow tree on it. The idea is that Tara will walk across the bridge and do the whole thing.”

As for the guest list, we can only assume that Fieri’s best friends, the celebrity chefs, will be there.

“Everyone wants to cook for it,” he said. “It will be star-studded.”

The couple actually met just a year ago at Fieri’s 2023 Super Bowl tailgate party when Fieri’s fiancée Tara Bernstein asked Hunter to take a video of her. The two went their separate ways but reunited during the second half of the game. The rest, as they say, is history.

“They’re both so gentle and laid back,” Guy said of the couple. “Hunter doesn’t play around with who he is or where he’s from. It’s the same with her. She’s a professional pickleball player. And they just float through life. They’re just a lot of fun.”

Hunter, the self-proclaimed “Prince of Flavortown,” has become a fixture on the Food Network alongside his father. He has appeared on Diners, drive-ins and pubsin shows, among others, and is himself an aspiring chef and restaurant owner.

“He’s a great teacher,” Hunter told PEOPLE about his role as a father. “When the time comes, I’ll be ready to go.”
