Something old, something new.

Brooke Shields may no longer be married to Andre Agassi, but the star told People on Wednesday that her 1997 wedding dress found a new life at her 18-year-old daughter’s high school graduation this summer.

The 59-year-old “Pretty Baby” star told the magazine that her youngest daughter, Grier Henchy, altered the dress for the ceremony, revealing: “Her graduation dress was my first wedding dress.”

Shields wore the ivory satin corset dress to her wedding to the tennis player – who she divorced in 1999 before marrying Grier’s father, Chris Henchy, in 2001 – but her daughter made some alterations to the dress to make it her own.

“We had to re-bone it a little bit to make it tight and smooth,” Grier said, explaining, “We removed all the fluff because I didn’t want it to be fluffy.”

“And we made it strapless,” added the proud mother of the Wake Forest University freshman.

And although her marriage didn’t work out, Shields – who described her first husband as a “good guy” – said the dress “felt like a big full-circle moment” that “honored something,” adding, “I think that’s healthy.”

“She looked great in it,” Shields said, telling People that it was “a great honor” for Grier to wear the dress.

“They don’t usually think I’m cool,” the “Castle for Christmas” actress added – but it seems Grier and her 21-year-old big sister Rowan definitely approve of their famous mom’s wardrobe.

The college freshman and IMG model walked the 2023 CNN Heroes red carpet in a black Richard Tyler gown that Shields wore to a ball in 2006, and Grier also sparkled earlier this year in one of her mother’s old gold dresses.

When it comes to stealing clothes, “nothing is off limits” for her daughters, Shields said.

“Honestly, they can wear anything just to give it a second life – you keep things and wonder why,” she said. “It’s like a big Sotheby’s auction? I highly doubt it. Unless they’re iconic items. So if they get a second life, it feels good.”

However, the supermodel brought an “iconic” item to the auction.

Shields will sell the jeans, which she modeled in a 1980 Calvin Klein shoot, at the upcoming Studio Auctions event titled “From Bombshells to Blasters: An Auction You Can’t Refuse” — and according to People, the famous jeans are valued at $50,000.

Too bad Grier couldn’t get her first.
