Greene County voter registration numbers are increasing as the election approaches

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – As the November election approaches, voter registration numbers are increasing in Greene County.

Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller said more than 1,000 new voters have registered each month for the upcoming election for the past three months, and his office has registered more than 10,000 new voters this year.

“Make sure your voice is heard! There will be many candidates and issues on the ballot. It is a two-way vote with well over 50 questions on the ballot for Greene County voters,” Schoeller said. “Remember to honor those who fought for this freedom and we can exercise this right to vote.”

Schoeller also said his office is working with Greene County law enforcement and the Greene County Office of Emergency Management to ensure the integrity of the November election.

He also said the office needs at least 30 replacement election judges for each party. If you would like to become an election judge, email [email protected] for more information. You can also receive at least $200 for your services.

The last day to register to vote in Greene County is October 9th.
