Given the allegations of rape and sexual assault Garth Brooks says the show must go on.

Brooks, 62, will continue to perform Garth Brooks/Plus ONE to reside at the Coliseum at Caesars Palace this weekend despite being accused of assault and battery by a former hairdresser on Thursday, October 3rd.

The country singer has concerts scheduled for Saturday, October 5, and Sunday, October 6, both of which are sold out. a representative from the venue said Us weekly that there are no plans to cancel the shows.

Additionally, the venue said it was not aware of any fans attempting to sell their tickets to the concerts in response to yesterday’s news. On secondary ticketing app Stubhub, the cheapest ticket for Saturday’s show is $117, while the most expensive is $697.

Brooks’ stay in Vegas lasts until the first weekend of March 2025.

Just hours after the allegations against Brooks became public, the singer took to the stage at the Coliseum for a performance he described as cathartic.

“If there was ever a night I really needed this, it was TONIGHT!” Brooks captioned an Instagram post on Friday, October 5, “Thank you so much for my life!!! !!” Love, g.”

A lawsuit filed by someone named “Jane Roe” accuses Brooks of raping the woman during a business trip in 2019. The woman claimed the incident occurred while she was working as a hairdresser for Brooks and his wife, a country singer Trisha Yearwood.

Brooks is also accused of offering to have a threesome with Yearwood, 60, and sending the woman sexually explicit text messages.

Shortly after the lawsuit went public, Brooks vehemently denied the allegations in a statement Us weekly.

“For the past two months, I have been endlessly plagued with threats, lies and tragic stories about what my future would be if I did not write a multi-million dollar check. It was like a loaded gun was being waved in my face,” Brooks said. “Hush money, no matter how much or how little, is still hush money. In my eyes, that means I’m admitting to behavior that I’m incapable of – ugly actions that no human being should ever do to another,” he continued. “We filed a lawsuit against this person almost a month ago to speak out against extortion and defamation of reputation. In the interest of the families of both sides, we filed the complaint anonymously.”

The statement continued: “I want to play music tonight. I would like to continue our good deeds in the future. It breaks my heart that these wonderful things are now being called into question. I trust the system, I’m not afraid of the truth and I’m not the man they made me out to be.”
