Frost warning applies to the entire region; coldest air in months

A Frost warning applies to the entire region until Wednesday, 9 a.m. This includes Auglaize, Butler, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, And labyrinth Counties in Ohio.

It also applies to Randolph, UnionAnd Wayne Counties in Indiana.

The Miami Valley is dealing with the first wave of cold air this fall.

Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Ryan Marando tracks how cold it gets and when we’ll see a warming trend this morning on News Center 7 Daybreak.

TRENDING STORIES:

Temperatures will be above 30°C across the region on Wednesday morning.

If temperatures fall below 32 degrees, Morando said Dayton will experience its first official frost, which typically occurs around Oct. 22.

In most remote areas temperatures will rise to or below 32 degrees.

The sun returns on Wednesday with high temperatures in the 50s.

It will be cool on Thursday and Friday morning, says Morando. Temperatures start in the mid to low 30s and night frost is possible.

Temperatures will slowly rise until the end of the week.
