Florida State football fans react during the North Carolina game

Every time it seems like Florida State’s football season couldn’t get any worse, somehow it does.

FSU is 1-7 and plays the same way against visiting North Carolina. UNC coach Mack Brown is 0-11 against his alma mater, but that seems certain to change based on how the first half played out.

Quarterback Brock Glenn completed a 33-yard pass on the Seminoles’ second possession. That was their only completion of the half, as Glenn and freshman Luke Kromenhoek combined to go 1 of 5. The pair were also dismissed five times, with Beau Atkinson contributing 3½ alone. The Tar Heels pass rush is technically just holding its own pace, as they had 10 sacks against Virginia last week.

FSU fans seem to have had enough of Mike Norvell and the Noles. A season that began with College Football Playoff expectations will end without a single bowl game, and a loss Saturday will cement the worst season since Bobby Bowden took over in 1977.

One Florida State even went so far as to pre-congratulate FCS team Charleston Southern on its future win against the Seminoles (they play on November 23rd).

Here’s a look at how FSU fans get along on social media:

The Seminoles play next week at No. 9 Notre Dame, so things can get worse.
