Florida man drives semi-trailer into strip club “Emperors Gentleman Club” and kills a guest

A man drove a semi-trailer through a Florida strip club early Tuesday morning, killing one man and injuring two others, after being thrown out, police said.

The incident occurred shortly before 4:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Emperors Gentleman Club in Tampa.

The cab of the semi-trailer crashed into the front of the topless bar near the main entrance beneath a sign that read “Full Nude.”

Witnesses told police that the wild driver had been thrown out of the establishment earlier in the evening but then returned “to drive the truck into a group of people standing at the entrance,” according to Tampa authorities.

The suspect “lay in wait” for at least 30 minutes before the person he was arguing with came out of the club, said Major Patrick Messmer of the Tampa Police Department.

Then he crashed into a group of about half a dozen people.

According to police, one man was killed. Two other men were injured but are expected to survive.

According to Messmer, none of the three were the madman’s actual targets. They were all regulars.
