NEW DELHI: In Faridabad Assembly constituency Vipul Goel The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading with 52,332 votes and has a clear lead of 25,346 votes over its closest rival. Lakhan Kumar Singla of the Indian National Congress (INC).
Faridabad is one of the important constituencies in the Haryana Assembly and falls under Faridabad district. In the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections, the Voter turnout In this constituency the rate was 53 percent. Vipul Goel (BJP) and Lakhan Kumar Singla (INC) are the prominent candidates, with several independent candidates also participating in the race.

In the previous elections in 2019, BJP’s Narender Gupta won the Faridabad seat, defeating INC’s Lakhan Kumar Singla by a margin of 21,713 votes. Faridabad is also part of Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency where BJP candidate Krishan Pal Gurjar won the 2024 general elections with a margin of 172,914 votes against INC’s Mahendra Pratap.
