Crazy Science: Liquid Nitrogen / 23 August, 3:00 p.m.–3:45 p.m.

Get ready for an incredible experience with a scientist from the Crazy Science Lab! Watch breathtaking demonstrations using liquid nitrogen, a chemical that can freeze objects in seconds. Watch roses, balloons and popcorn transform right before your eyes. This show is included with museum admission.

Grab a blanket and enjoy the movie “Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken” at Seaside Wildlife Nature Park.

The animated film tells the story of the teenage sea octopus Ruby Gillman. Ruby struggles to fit in at her high school, Oceanside High, and discovers her destiny as a warrior queen of the Seven Seas, following in her grandmother’s footsteps. Overwhelmed by the throne and the great responsibility that comes with it, Ruby seeks help from Chelsea, a former mermaid who attends Ruby’s high school.
