We’re back! For the first time, a season of Love Is Blind has been filmed in the UK and the pod daters are from our area. Given the show’s big move, there will obviously be some big differences in the look – one of which is the different filming locations.

From start to finish, hopeful daters travel everywhere in their search for the right one – from inside the pods to potentially meeting up at a beautiful wedding venue to confirm their love.

The pod part of Love Is Blind UK was filmed in Sweden

The most famous part of each season of Love Is Blind are the pods. For the US season, these pods are usually stored and transported across the country to film at different locations.

However, the British version of Love Is Blind was a very different story. The British cast were flown to a studio in Stockholm, Sweden, to film the pod portion of the series.

For the engagement trip, the British crew travelled to Corfu

After declaring their love for one another and making the grand gesture of getting engaged without having met each other, the cast members who are about to get married head off on vacation. In previous seasons, the cast members have flown all over the world to celebrate the next phases of their lives at luxury resorts.

Since the cast is from the UK this time around, what better place to send them than to a beautiful part of Europe? During their engagement trip, the cast of Love Is Blind UK were filmed enjoying themselves in Corfu, Greece. According to The Metro, they stayed at the Angsana Corfu Resort and Spa, a luxurious five-star hotel on the island.

Love Is Blind UK weddings were filmed in Durham

And then we all wait for the wedding day. Will they say “yes” or will it end in a big “no” and they’ll storm the venue and slide down a mudslide, Gigi-style from season one?

In the UK, the likelihood of rain-related mudslides is even higher, but the location looks stunning. The weddings were filmed at Wynyard Hall in Durham, which is described on its website as “a stunningly beautiful Grade II listed 18th century country house for weddings and functions, home-cooked food, an award-winning spa, charming cottages and one of the UK’s largest rose gardens, all located in the North East, set in a private 400-acre estate.”
