Eva Longoria reveals Victoria Beckham’s secret breakfast recipe and claims her best friend is ‘easy’ when it comes to food.

David Beckham may bemoan the fact his wife eats grilled fish and steamed vegetables – but Eva Longoria has revealed she cooks a lavish breakfast.

The former Desperate Housewives actress, 49, has enjoyed a decades-long friendship with the 50-year-old fashion designer, who rarely deviates from her strict diet.

But when it comes to breakfast, she has a knack for making a “great” egg white with avocado.

“It’s actually easy because we eat the same breakfast,” Longoria said. “We both love egg whites and avocado. When we are together she makes a great egg white with avocado.

“We definitely have steamed fish for dinner.” Steamed fish, steamed vegetables. She is simple. It’s actually the opposite. It’s actually easy, not difficult.”

It comes months after Victoria’s husband revealed details about her not-so-appealing diet on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast, saying she ate grilled fish and steamed vegetables during their marriage.

“I get very emotional around food and wine. If I eat something great, I want everyone to try it,” he said.

“Unfortunately, I’m married to someone who’s been eating the same thing for 25 years.” Since I met her, she’s only eaten grilled fish and steamed vegetables, and she’ll rarely deviate from that.

“In fact, the only time she probably ever told me anything that was on my plate was when she was pregnant with Harper, and that was the most amazing thing.”

“It was one of my favorite evenings. I can’t remember what it was, but I know she hasn’t eaten it since.’

Victoria previously admitted that she doesn’t eat food cooked in oil, butter or sauces and doesn’t eat red meat or dairy.

In the same podcast, the designer said: “For most restaurants, I’m probably their worst nightmare.” I love steamed vegetables, a little balsamic vinegar and then for seasoning.

“I like things to be prepared very simply.” I don’t like oils, butter or sauces. It makes me sound even more boring in the food department.’

“It’s actually easy because we eat the same breakfast,” Longoria, 49, told DailyMail.com. “We both love egg whites and avocado…She makes a great egg white and avocado.”

Victoria also confessed that her comfort food was a piece of whole wheat toast with salt on it and that she celebrates her birthday with a fruit cake.

She said, “I like whole wheat toast with salt. It’s the carbs that make you feel good and I love salt.”

The former Spice Girl has previously spoken about her love of egg whites and avocado.

In 2017, she posted a video of herself in a white robe preparing her team’s high-protein breakfast on a business trip in Boston.

Her best friend Longoria’s diet is far more exciting than Victoria’s. The philanthropist recently released her own cookbook, “My Mexican Kitchen: 100 Recipes Rich With Tradition, Flavor, and Spice.”

Longoria, who describes herself as a Texican, said she had 1,000 recipes from her travels in Mexico and decided to compile them into a cookbook.

“I added a lot of dishes because of my husband,” she said, before revealing that she cooks tacos for her family three times a week.

“A family favorite is tacos and I know that’s typical, but I love a taco night,” she said. “We could have a taco night every night of the week… my family loves tacos.”

Longoria, who lives in Spain, said she doesn’t have a private chef and enjoys cooking for her husband, José Bastón, and their six-year-old son, Santiago, who she said would eat anything.
