Epic Mickey: Revised Deep Dive Trailer highlights the remaster’s cool new features

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is coming to Switch next week. 24 SeptemberAhead of that release date, THQ Nordic has released an extensive trailer showcasing some of the remaster’s new features, courtesy of the game’s creatives.

We have the legendary Warren Spector talking about how the game came together, director Jason Mallett discussing Mickey’s sprinting and ground slams, and designer Aleksandra Jarosz highlighting the enhanced 2.5D projector levels. All of this is accompanied by some new gameplay footage showing the titular mouse in action.

It all looks pretty good. We were lucky enough to try out the PC version of Epic Mickey: Rebrushed at Gamescom this year, and we liked what we saw. While the Switch will take a hit in terms of performance (the Purple Lamp team told us it will run at 1080p/30fps docked and 720p/30fps handheld), we found the quality of life and mechanical improvements to be groundbreaking compared to the slightly buggy Wii version.
