Paddy and Mandy Dingle have tied the knot after a dramatic day in Emmerdale.

The couple’s wedding was thrown into chaos earlier this week when Bear revealed to his son Paddy that Mandy was secretly working as an online dominatrix to earn extra money.

In the double feature on Thursday (August 15), Vinny and Mandy prepared for the ceremony, unaware of what Paddy had just found out.

Paddy’s father Bear continued to express his doubts about the wedding going ahead, while Marlon intervened to defend Mandy.

Both were shocked when a desperate Paddy suddenly decided he didn’t want to marry Mandy because she was once again keeping secrets from him.

While Marlon desperately tried to convince Paddy to attend the ceremony, Bear appeared in the salon and announced that he had been Mandy’s secret client.

Mandy was horrified when Bear happily announced that the wedding was called off! Mandy rushed to find Paddy, but had to explain a lot to change his mind.

When Paddy found out that Mandy was trying to pay off her debts, he assured his bride-to-be: “You are incredible… We are a team. Your problems are our problems.”

When the wedding came around again, the couple faced another problem as Bear had cancelled all their plans out of spite. Mandy and Paddy asked Charles to perform an impromptu ceremony in the church.

At the Woolpack reception that evening, Paddy told friends and family that the wedding was the beginning of his “wonderful, beautiful, perfect future” with Mandy.

“Thank you for being my wife, my soul mate and my Cinderella,” Paddy told Mandy. “No one should miss out on a second chance at happiness. So I’m grabbing mine with both hands and never letting go.”

At the end of the episode, the Dingles celebrated the bride and groom’s big day.
