    With Election Day underway, news networks are ramping up their comprehensive coverage to track results across the country as voters cast their ballots on Tuesday.

    Coverage occurs throughout the day, but when does each station’s main special election coverage begin?

    NBC Election Day Coverage

    NBC News will begin its coverage of Decision 2024 starting at 5:00 p.m. ET on NBC, NBC News NOW and NBCNews.com. The network plans to air live coverage on local NBC stations for 24 consecutive hours, starting at 5:00 p.m. ET on Election Day and continuing overnight. Anchors Lester Holt and Savannah Guthrie will join “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker, Hallie Jackson and Tom Llamas in leading special coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.

    CNN coverage of Election Day

    CNN’s “Election Night in America” ​​begins its live coverage at 4 p.m. ET with hosts Jake Tapper and Anderson Cooper and analysis from Dana Bash, Erin Burnett and Chris Wallace. John King will be on the network’s signature “Magic Wall,” breaking down state-by-state results from the CNN Election Center in Washington, DC and New York City, while Kaitlan Collins and Abby Phillip will cover the Trump-Harris campaign headquarters, respectively .

    Fox News Election Day coverage

    Fox News plans to begin airing “Fox News Democracy 2024” at 6:00 p.m. ET. Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum will lead reporting as the network provides updates on incoming results. Bill Hemmer will analyze election data on the Bill Board and provide viewers with county-by-county insights, and Harris Faulkner will host a live audience segment focused on voter perspectives.

    CBS Election Day Coverage

    On CBS News, Norah O’Donnell will host live coverage from CBS Election Headquarters in New York City starting at 7:00 p.m. ET. She is joined by Margaret Brennan, John Dickerson, Gayle King and others. CBS correspondents, including Nancy Cordes and Tony Dokoupil, will report live from campaign headquarters in Washington, DC and West Palm Beach, Florida. Maurice DuBois will analyze the path to 270 electoral votes for each candidate, while Scott MacFarlane will report on the current battles in the Senate and House of Representatives.

    ABC Election Day coverage

    ABC News announced that election night programming will begin at 7 p.m. ET. David Muir will host the broadcast alongside Linsey Davis, Martha Raddatz and Jonathan Karl. Analysts Donna Brazile, Chris Christie and Reince Priebus will join the ABC team to provide perspective on key races and battlefield conditions.

    MSNBC Election Day Coverage

    MSNBC’s primetime election coverage, led by Rachel Maddow, begins at 6:00 p.m. ET. Maddow will be joined by Nicolle Wallace, Joy Reid, Chris Hayes and others from the network’s New York headquarters. National political correspondent Steve Kornacki will be stationed at the Big Board and will provide updates on state results throughout Tuesday.
