Eagles legend will be part of ESPN’s broadcast of Monday Night Football

Fans watching the Eagles game at home will still have the opportunity to witness Jason Kelce’s return home to Philadelphia.

The franchise legend and ESPN’s newest NFL analyst will join commentators Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in the announce booth during the third quarter of the Eagles’ Monday Night Football game against the Atlanta Falcons, Aikman announced on X.

“Oh man, this is going to be fun tonight!! I’m going to keep it as unbiased as possible…. Go Birds!!,” Kelce wrote on X.

Monday night’s game will be the Eagles’ first in Philadelphia since Kelce, a franchise icon and legendary center, retired after last season. By luck or planning, their first home game was also broadcast on ESPN, Kelce’s new home since he traded in his helmet and pads for a microphone and button-down shirt.

Kelce appeared on ESPN’s pregame and halftime shows last week with Scott Van Pelt, Ryan Clark and Marcus Spears.

ESPN is part of Kelce’s successful post-career media ventures. His podcast “New Heights” with his brother Travis Kelce has signed a three-year, $100 million exclusive deal with Amazon.

Eagles fans will continue to see plenty of Jason Kelce in his future media career.
