Dodgers vs. Padres NLDS: How to watch Game 2, TV, start time

LOS ANGELES – The Dodgers moved into first place with a victory in the opening game of the National League Division Series over the Padres, and in Game 2 on Sunday they will turn to hometown boy Jack Flaherty for a postseason game in the Stadium that he often visited as a child.

“I’ve had some conversations with some family members and some people close to me over the last few days to kind of put it in perspective and show how surreal and just crazy this opportunity is – being from here and “This is where we come to the games,” Flaherty said Saturday at Dodger Stadium. “I would look back like a little boy if I said to myself, ‘What would I like to say as an eight-year-old?’ It would be pretty cool. So I just try to enjoy it.”

It fell to Flaherty to give the Dodgers a little more leeway in Game 2 after Yoshinobu Yamamoto threw just three innings in Game 1.

The Dodgers haven’t had a postseason starter pitch in the final three innings since 2022.

On Sunday, the Dodgers have a chance to win two games in a row since the 2020 NLDS, including against the Padres. In Game 2, they face Yu Darvish, who allowed four runs (three earned) in 15⅔ innings in three starts against the Dodgers this year. However, they have not played the right-hander since May 12th.

Dodger Stadium parking lot gates will open at 2:03 p.m. on Sunday, with stadium gates opening at 2:33 p.m., before first pitch at 5:03 p.m.
