Richard Goodall has done it again.

On Wednesday night, the Terre Haute high school janitor took the stage at America’s Got Talent and delivered a rousing cover of Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” telling fans and judges that he was ready and willing to fight for his spot in the finale.

Was it worth it? We know that.

Yes! The producers made us wait until the final elimination round for the good news, but Goodall made it.

In a pre-recorded interview segment, Goodall said he normally works in the background but is now ready to step into the spotlight: “I have the heart to do it.”

Judge Heidi Klum, who had taken him from the audition to the quarter-finals with her Golden Buzzer, seemed delighted with the result.

“Richard, you deserve this so much,” said judge Heidi Klum. “I am so, so proud of you – and America did it right.”
