As October marked the end of Austin’s largest annual music festival, PATRÓN Tequila and Rolling Stone decided to throw one last hurray with an epic performance from country-pop star Dasha in another installment of The Green Room event series. Just a week prior, festival goers had an incredible concert experience with MisterWives, so it was only fair to do it again and end the final day of the festival with a bang.

Before taking the stage, Dasha conducted an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone News executive producer Delisa Shannon. There, she revealed insider information and even dropped some hints about new songs that may be coming out early next year. Recalling her festival appearance two days earlier, Dasha celebrated with her favorite cocktail, PATRÓN Ranch Water, served in a popular PATRÓN Collectors Cup, which fans can now purchase at Reserve Bar.

For Dasha, who recently made her first-ever Austin festival appearance, the anticipation of a more light-hearted performance at the Green Room event was palpable. “I can show a more intimate side to the audience instead of them sitting thirty meters behind a barricade,” she said. The pressure of leaving the festival performance behind also allowed her to celebrate with PATRÓN tequila, which she loves not only for its taste but also for its additive-free quality; “…it’s hard being on the road, it’s hard on the body and you want to party” without feeling worse about yourself.

The performance, which included many old and new songs, was unforgettable. Dasha entered the courtyard to her fans who gathered around the stage, excited to be just inches away from the country pop star. A fan in the front row, dressed in a sequined cowboy hat, sang every lyric and interacted with Dasha, who pointed and sang along. “I am, first and foremost, a storyteller,” Dasha explained, and fans clearly knew and felt this with every single word.

As the band jammed through their set, fans danced to banjo, violin, acoustic guitar and pop drums, narrated by Dasha, who shared personal anecdotes about what each song was about. At the end of the set, Dasha toasted her fans and PATRÓN for creating such a legendary experience before hopping into the crowd to dance with her fans. “Does anyone know how to line dance?” Dasha asked while introducing her hit “Austin.” She was immediately greeted by her Austin fans and was ready to welcome Dasha to the city with open arms, responsible for her career-defining song, which debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 last June.

Dasha wasn’t the only celebrity who joined guests at the intimate event – Netflix Love is blind Stars Johnny McIntryre and Amy Cortés stood in line to receive their custom-made chain stitch bandanas while sipping the “I Love You So Much” cocktail, an espresso martini-inspired drink, PATRÓN XO Cafe Coffee Liquor, PATRÓN Tequila Silver and cold brew coffee blended and chocolate bitters. The event’s signature cocktail, the PATRÓN Ranch Water, was a favorite with three simple ingredients: fresh lime, sparkling water and PATRÓN Silver, the tequila that launched the ultra-premium category and remains the gold standard today, handcrafted from three natural ones Ingredients.

The attention to detail was visible and appreciated by all. The entire venue was filled to the brim with green decor, a bright green wall of “speakers” for photo moments, and other unique touches. Aesthetically, the space offered an elevated experience that felt authentic to what one would find backstage. Guests entered the courtyard of the South Congress Hotel and discovered unlimited appetizers and creative, music-inspired cocktails with accompaniments such as guitar picks, collectible mini records, mini cowboy hats and even a chocolate guitar.

While some guests took photos in front of the huge PATRÓN photo wall, others took photos with a guest’s adorable long-haired dachshund wearing a cowboy hat. Across the room, makeup artists from Glam Station treated guests to fresh, personalized looks and fun face stickers that matched the vibe. Before her monumental performance, Dasha enjoyed getting her cowboy boots shined at the shoeshine station and taking photos in the mirror at the glamor station with her custom-decorated PATRÓN Silver tequila bottle. “This is adorable!” Dasha exclaimed, admiring her new tequila souvenir with her name written on it in pink jewels. Some lucky guests even received custom denim jackets with personalized stitching, like Anthony Jones, a well-known Austin cocktail influencer who goes by “TheATXDrinker.”

By the time the event came to an end, the energy was certainly not there. Fans left with new friends and happy smiles and were lucky enough to have experienced everything The Green Room had to offer thanks to PATRÓN Tequila.
