DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ/Caesars press release) – Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is opening his first restaurant in Virginia in the form of Ramsay’s Kitchen, which will be part of the new Caesars Virginia casino resort in Danville, according to Caesars Virginia.

According to Caesars, Ramsay’s Kitchen is “inspired by Chef Ramsay’s travels abroad and takes guests on a global culinary journey filled with flavors close to home.”

“Caesars Virginia sets the standard for accessible luxury and I am so proud to open my first restaurant here at this beautiful resort,” said Chef Ramsay. “My longstanding partnership with Caesars has proven time and time again to be a fan favorite. I’m thrilled to continue this here in the Commonwealth of Virginia and share my perspective on global cuisine.”

Caesars says the restaurant will serve dishes such as beef Wellington, crispy skin salmon, pan-seared scallops, a 24-ounce bone-in ribeye, Virginia oysters, jumbo lump crab cakes and sticky chicken wings, as well as a dessert menu.

“Ramsay’s Kitchen not only brings an upscale culinary offering to our resort, but also a world-class option not yet available in the region,” said Chris Albrecht, SVP and GM of Caesars Virginia. “We are so grateful that Chef Ramsay Caesars chose Virginia for his newest Ramsay’s Kitchen and we look forward to introducing our guests to this phenomenal restaurant.”

Ramsay’s Kitchen at Caesars Virginia is scheduled to open with the resort later this year and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
