Dancing With The Stars Hair Metal Night Scores – Who went home in the double elimination?

Continue tonight Dancing with the starsContestants and professionals took the stage to perform legendary hair metal songs from Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Twisted Sister and more. After a few mishaps and “strange” feedback from today’s guest judge, two couples were ultimately eliminated at the end of the show.

The third week of DWTS began on Monday, October 8, with couples performing Soul Train hits. Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong topped the leaderboard for the third consecutive year. The three lowest-scoring couples – Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater (21 points) and Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach (23 points) – were at the greatest risk of going home on Tuesday.

The Hair Metal Night began with an opening number to “Rock and Roll All Nite” by KISS, choreographed by Pasha Pashkov and featuring Joel Hoekstra of Whitesnake on guitar.

Gene Simmons, the co-lead singer of the rock band KISS, was a guest judge. However, social media had many Thoughts on Simmons’ comments throughout the night. Some viewers labeled him “creepy” due to his sometimes superficial feedback, which mostly focused on looks and appearance.

“Hey Gene! I just want to remind you that this is a dance show, NOT a beauty pageant. “Respectfully never come back please and thank you #DWTS,” user @aidenxvanessa wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another post said, “Phaedra gets a 5 but he gives Brooks a 10…Gene Simmons counting down your days.”weird and gross comments all night #DWTS,” @grapejuicebraes added.

Danny Amendola and Witney Carson

Results: 30 (7, 7, 9, 7)

Total for both nights: 60

Danny Amendola and Witney Carson performed a paso doble to “Livin’ On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi. The judges were all amazed by Danny’s power and attack. Bruno and Carrie Ann noted that he still needs to improve his finesse, while Derek enjoyed the performance but mentioned some timing issues. The trio gave him sevens, while Simmons gave them a nine.

Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater

Results: 21 (6, 5, 5, 5)

Total for both nights: 42

Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater cha-chaed to “I Wanna Rock” by Twisted Sister. Carrie Ann said Reginald blew her away, noting that even though he took fewer steps than any of the other contestants in the competition, he still captivated everyone. Derek praised his upper body work, while Bruno recognized that he worked very hard while dancing. They received a six and three fives from the jury.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong

Results: 33 (8, 8, 9, 8)

Total for both nights: 69

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong performed a jive to “We’re Not Gonna Take It” by Twisted Sister. Derek praised her, saying, “You’re in a league of your own,” and called her one of the best dancers, if not the best. Gene said the performance touched him, while Bruno called her the “rock ‘n’ roll diva.” Carrie Ann noted that even Chandler had room for improvement and recommended that she work on improving her movements. The judges gave them eight and a nine.

Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko

Results: 33 (8, 8, 9, 8)

Total for both nights: 61

Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko performed a cha-cha to “Nothin’ But A Good Time” by Poison. Bruno praised her perfect balance and placement. Carrie Ann admired Brooks’ focus and said she really appreciated the performance. All the judges paid attention except Simmons, who gave it a nine – although there was some confusion after he announced a ten on air.

Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold

Results: 32 (8, 8, 8, 8)

Total for both nights: 62

Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold performed a foxtrot to “Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake. The judges were pleased to see Stephen implement their feedback from last week and see huge improvements in his physique and timing. Carrie Ann encouraged him to understand his movements better, while Derek suggested he take more steps when moving across the floor. They received all eight from the jury.

Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach

Results: 29 (8, 7, 7, 7)

Total for both nights: 52

Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach performed a paso doble to “Walk This Way” by Aerosmith. “You’re back in the game,” Carrie Ann said of tonight’s cathartic performance. Derek called Dwight the “comeback king” while Gene said the dance was a “slam dunk.” Bruno’s only criticism was that Dwight didn’t break his hands. Her scores were three sevens and an eight from Carrie Ann.

Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart

Results: 22 (6, 5, 6, 5)

Total for both nights: 46

Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart performed a paso doble to “Cherry Pie” by Warrant. Derek said he loved Eric’s determination and spirit, while Bruno admitted the dance had a lot of content but noted some timing issues. Carrie Ann noted that she could see him reconnecting with his body and gaining confidence. The couple’s scores were between five and six.

Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten

Results: 26 (7, 6, 7, 6)

Total for both nights: 56

Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten performed a jive to “Cum On Feel the Noize” by Quiet Riot. The judges pointed out several mistakes in the dance but encouraged her not to give up. “You’ve made mistakes so many times,” Bruno said, “but the attitude was perfect.” Carrie Ann realized she had lost her rhythm, and Derek urged her to use this moment to come back stronger next week. The points were divided between sevens and sixes.

Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber

Results: 31 (8, 8, 7, 8)

Total for both nights: 62

Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber performed a paso doble to “The Final Countdown” by Europe. Bruno said her dance was filled with all the content a Paso Doble needs. Derek praised Jenn for her “beautiful, strong calm” and highlighted her impressive knee movements across the floor. The judges gave it an eight, while Simmons gave it a seven.

Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy

Results: 26 (7, 7, 5, 7)

Total for both nights: 56

Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy performed a paso doble to “You Give Love A Bad Name” by Bon Jovi. The judges pointed out some mistakes in the dance, with Carrie and Bruno telling her that she danced very straight and that some moves looked flat. Derek said the dance felt pretty dynamic overall. The judges awarded seven points, with the exception of Simmons, who awarded a five.

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson

Points: 36 (9, 9, 9, 9)

Total for both nights: 70

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson tangoed to “Rock You Like A Hurricane” by the Scorpions. “That was the best tango I’ve ever seen from a male celebrity,” Derek said, adding that Joey’s body was so strong and incisive. Bruno emphasized that this is how to play rock and tango, solidifying Joey as the leader of the pack. “That was phenomenal,” Carrie Ann added. Their scores were all nines.

Who was eliminated? Dancing with the stars Week 3?

Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart were eliminated in Week 3 along with Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater Dancing with the stars. They had the lowest total of jury and audience votes on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

“This was a very special occasion and she was very special to me,” Reginald told Julianne after the elimination. Meanwhile, Emma said she won because she made a new friend.

As for Roberts, the actor said he’s “never had a better work experience” in his entire professional career. Britt added that she was proud that they broke the barriers in the ballroom.

DWTS airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Hulu and ABC.com.
