India’s first innings in Bangalore against New Zealand would have given fans memories of India’s collapse in Adelaide on their previous tour of Australia. With Rishabh Pant top-scoring with 20 and an innings consisting of five batters, the Ducks registered.

The game quickly got out of India’s hands as the Kiwis fell into stumps with a lead of 134 runs and seven wickets in hand. A tough defeat looms and India has some questions to answer as they prepare for the difficult conditions in Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
