    Country star reveals: Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry are splitting up

    Zach Bryan is experiencing his own “American heartbreak” during his breakup with Brianna Chickenfry.

    The “I Remember Everything” singer announced his split from Chickenfry, whose legal name is Brianna LaPaglia, on his Instagram Story on Tuesday.

    “I want to address something: Brianna and I have separated and I respect and love her with all my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and I will always thank her for that,” Bryan wrote.

    He continued: “I’ve had an incredibly tough year personally and have had to fight through some pretty tough things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to pursue different paths. I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in it and if you have him in your heart, mine too.

    Bryan ended his note by telling fans, “For all that I am and for everyone I let down, I am sorry. I do my best in everything. I have let down people who love me and especially myself.”

    Shortly after Bryan’s announcement on Instagram, LaPaglia responded with a message of her own to fans.

    “Hey guys, I’m feeling really blindsided right now,” she wrote on her own Instagram Story. “I’m going to stay away from social media for a while and try to heal privately. When I’m ready, I’ll be back and ready to talk.”

    “I love you guys so much, thank you for all your kind words. “Remember that you are so loved and that everything will always be okay,” she added. She told her followers in a YouTube video that she had “no idea” about Bryan posting his statement and that he hadn’t texted her, telling viewers that she was “caught off guard” and “for five days cried all at once.”

    “How can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally, like through things you shouldn’t do…how can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and have them throw you away in a few days?” LaPaglia wrote to fans , she didn’t want to talk about details and “at the moment I wanted to heal privately.”

    She asked fans to respect their privacy and said she would provide an update soon. LaPaglia also thanked people for the kind messages amid her “hurt” and shared that the couple split on Monday.

    Before Bryan posted his story on Tuesday, his ex-girlfriend shared a message on Instagram on Monday that hinted at their next chapter: “And at some point you’ll realize that life goes on, even when you don’t want it to,” she noted said . “The days will pass and the world will move as you ask it to stop. You’ll think life is cruel if you keep going while your feet are stuck.”

    She continued, “The world keeps turning in hopes of showing you that you can too.”

    In May, the couple shared that they were involved in a “side-by-side” car accident, the podcast personality announced on social media and used TikTok to recall the “traumatizing” incident.

    “It rolled over a few times, everything broke, and thank God we had our seatbelts on,” she said of the accident that occurred two nights earlier. “But there was a lot of blood and we thought we would say goodbye to each other.”

    Bryan, who is currently on his Quittin Time tour, had a “huge cut” stitched up after the ambulance arrived. The couple also thrilled fans when they attended the 2024 Grammy Awards in February to celebrate the singer’s three nominations, including Best Country Album and subsequent win for “I Remember Everything” with Kacey Musgraves.
