Cooler, more seasonal weather on Sunday in the Carolinas

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – This week we’re tracking the chance of rain along with a warming trend. Monday will be our last cool day before the 70s return for the rest of the week.

  • Monday: Mostly cloudy, cool, a few showers late
  • Tuesday: Scattered showers, warmer
  • Wednesday: Scattered showers, warm

Get ready for a warming trend and some chances of rain this week. Cloud cover will persist tonight with lows in the 40s and 50s.

Tomorrow will be another mostly cloudy and cool day with highs in the upper 60s. Warmer weather and a chance of rain will return to the forecast on Tuesday. Scattered showers are possible east of Charlotte, but elsewhere a mix of sunshine and clouds is expected with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Along with the warmth, scattered to isolated showers are possible on Wednesday and Thursday; Expect highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

A few isolated showers are possible Friday, otherwise mostly cloudy skies are expected with high temperatures in the upper 70s. The coming weekend looks partly cloudy and mild for now, with highs in the 70s.
