Cool temperatures for the work week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Hopefully you’ve prepared for cooler temperatures in the Mid-South because it’s going to feel A LOT like fall working week.

The maximum temperatures in the afternoon will rise to around 10°C above average Sunday up to ~10° below average Tuesday. Tuesday is not even the coolest day on this route, because Wednesday There will be another drop of a few degrees across the Mid-South. That shouldn’t be too much of a surprise Wednesday evening into it Thursday morning will be the coldest night of this stretch, with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s across rural parts of the Mid-South. If you have delicate vegetation, it might not be a bad idea to bring it indoors Tuesday evening into it Wednesday morning And Wednesday evening into it Thursday morning. Clear skies and light northeasterly winds will contribute to the drop in temperature.

This cold front will also bring no real threat of showers across the Mid-South. There will be a few additional clouds (compared to the weekend) but there won’t be a drastic difference from the weekend. Really, about next seven daysRain chances are EXTREMELY low across the Mid-South. If you have been wishing/looking for dry conditions for the last few days next 10 days will work to your advantage from this standpoint.

Sunday evening/Monday morning: Mostly clear skies. Lows will be in the low to mid 50s.

Monday: Mainly sunny skies and much cooler. Highs will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

Monday evening/Tuesday morning: Mostly clear skies. Lows will be in the mid to upper 40s.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies and cooler. Highs in the mid 60s.

Over and beyond: The coolest day of this route will come Wednesdaywhile Wednesday evening into it Thursday morning will be the coldest start to the day. Temperatures will also slowly warm up, and that weekend The views throughout the Mid-South are outstanding!! A very patchy rain is possible Sundaybut that’s about it. Dry conditions and sunny/clear skies will persist.
