The Connecticut Department of Agriculture’s sixth annual Connecticut Grown magazine is now available in print and digital. The publication serves as a guide to the state’s farmers markets and food producers.

The latest edition focuses on efforts to diversify not only the number of food growers in the state, but also the methods and areas that can contribute to food production and the way the food is sold to consumers.

It is always exciting when I join the Department of Agriculture to highlight all of the great CT Grown products and suppliers in our state because there really is so much variety, diversity and innovation,” said Lieutenant Governor Bysiewicz. “Now in its sixth edition, Grown in Connecticut The magazine is an accessible and practical guide to learning more about our farms, food and markets. I can’t thank Commissioner Hurlburt and the staff at the Department of Agriculture enough for all the work they do to support our state’s farmers.”
